The Tytherington

We didn't eat at the hotel so I'm not sure about that, but the terrace for drinks in the sun opposite the golf course was excellent. The room was beautiful and clean and the beds comfy. So close to town for dinner. A lovely stay.

Facilities were excellent. Enjoyed a swim and sauna both days. Wonderful countryside on the doorstep.

Quiet location with stunning views of golf course. The gym and spa facilities are excellent.

Bar prices are a little high.

Staff were friendly knowledgeable and welcoming. Beautiful hotel in a lovely location with great views over the golf links from the restaurant. Food was tasty and the staff looked after me very well as I have serious gluten allergies. The bedroom was great. King-size bed, zip and link. Aircon very welcome given the extreme heat during our stay.

Limited gf choices on starters and no choice at all on the desserts. I would have liked to have taken advantage of the three course meal deal but there was only the main course I could have. I hadn't realised until the last morning that there was gf granola so hadn't been able to have cereal either morning of our stay. But, it was served in an open bowl right next to other cereals containing gluten so it was at high risk of cross contamination. I suggested to the receptionist on checkout that the granola could be stored in a container away from the other cereals which contain gluten so people with allergies like myself would be able to enjoy it safely.
