Just a gem of a find, everything was lovely.

Loved there was a swimming pool

Didn't know that it was a shared pool so no adults got in to enjoy it as others about

Lovely host, welcome on arrival, great location, lovely welcome pack, quiet and peaceful and a quaint little garden with swimming pool and garden games, washing facilities and parking, netflix available on tv, board games, books and leaflets to promote the area. The property is clean tidy and not cluttered but with everything that you need for a break away.

Unfortunately the mattresses are of poor low value quality, they are thin and you can hear and feel the springs on your body, very very uncomfortable, after two days with hardly any sleep we left in pain in the neck, back and shoulders, the most important thing for us is a good nights comfortable sleep and this was three generations that felt the pain, which is such a shame as it is the main point that lets it all down. We are aware from the lovely host however that she is in the process of updating the properties and we sincerely hope that this constructive criticism is taken into account over the kitchen as that is still usable and worked well with the look of the cottage feel, the replacement of good comfortable mattresses really needs to be a priority so you can enjoy your stay.
