Wades Point Inn on the Bay

Authentic property to period with modern accommodations for comfort and safety

Vanessa made breakfast each morning. When we arrived our table was already set for two with orange juice. Then a fruit dish and cheese omelet. The next day we served ourselves with oatmeal, homemade biscuits, homemade yogurt, fruit, baked scrambled eggs and homemade sticky buns. She made us feel very special while we were there. She is a great cook. We sat at a table overlooking the bay. It was fabulous.

There is nothing that could have been better. Everything was great. The room was clean, we had a kitchenette, private bathroom, private porch with 2 chairs, overlooking the bay out of the front and side windows. We were close to the main house, that had a TV room with games, books and puzzles. Plenty of parking. The decor was very pretty throughout the Main House and our room. We would have changed nothing.

Some of the rooms are a little older but clean and comfortable. Our room didn't have a TV or phone in the room. However, was everything expected for a bed and breakfast: bed, bathroom, towels, shampoo, conditioner etc. and scenery from our room was priceless.

The breakfast was good. Just wish it had more of a variety. Main menu items was cheese and crab quiche, not being a quiche eater just had a waffle and fruit. Both were good. Just wish there was more variety like eggs and bacon or sausage, or muffins etc. The food was homemade and fresh. Just not my taste in items I would want.

Breakfast was good but not robust. Missing toast, pancakes or waffles or just basic scrambled eggs.

Breakfast was superb. Everything about this place was beyond what we expected. Beautiful, quiet location on the water.

IT WAS GREAT AND THE LADY WAS ALSO GREAT.

NO RADIO OR TV JUST FOR THE NEWS. BUT THE ROOM WAS STILL GREAT.
