Wades Point Inn on the Bay

Great place to stay. Amazing views from the property. Friendly staff, very nice accommodations.

Just wish they had king size beds.

The varied, delicious, included breakfasts were EXCEPTIONAL!!! Vanessa is a gem!! We loved the magnificent location, your wraparound view, and very much appreciated the complimentary upgrade to an especially comfortable room with a gorgeous, serenely peaceful outlook.

I haven't a single suggestion! Beth and Sherry made us feel warmly welcomed to a homelike environment and were happy to share the interesting history of this beautiful property. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to return!!

The location was beautiful, there were bikes to ride and farm animals to enjoy. The dining area was beautiful as well and breakfasts were great. It was nice there were also fishing rods there to use.

There were lots of lady bugs in the room, be aware the the ceilings are low if you or anyone in your party is taller, and the water has a strong sulfur smell (to shower with, bring water for brushing teeth). Also, when we checked in, our keys were left in an envelope as we came in a bit later than expected, and no one was at the desk when we checked out, so we never interacted with any staff while we were there the entire weekend.

Everything about this Inn was lovely! The rooms were beautifully furnished. We had picked a room with separate bathroom, but the owner let us choose wether we preferred another one. The area surrounding the Inn is gorgeous, and on the whole, our stay was super relaxing. Thank you so much!

The breakfast choices were all delicious and presented very attractively. The guest rooms and common areas were all in pristine condition. The outdoor seating areas were much appreciated as were the books and games available to guests.

The infestation of lady bugs in the bedroom was somewhat difficult to ignore, but harmless. The 2nd floor hallway and stairway lighting could be be amped up a bit for night time safety while walking.

Breakfast was only ok on one day, very good on the other. Location is excellent, as is cleanliness.

There are serious safety issues in the lack of lighting on steep and unavoidable stairs and hallways. Burned out light bulbs don't help. Since mostly old people are in this place, they really need to update the lighting. The bathroom also needs help. The bathtub is quaint, but a shower is really important for many people. Finally, I discovered that I paid more with booking.com than I would have if I had booked directly with the hotel. This is very irritating.
