The location really is fantastic as you're right on a walkers route. You're literally right next to the forest. I did a lot of walking whilst I was here, and there is a great circular walk starting from the caves of Maximillians walking your way through seeing all of the amazing rock formations and general wilderness. The staff were very friendly. Only German was spoken so I enjoyed practising my German. The food downstairs is traditional German and very nice. A quiet location and breakfast included was great to set me up for the day.

The room was fairly basic, but I wouldn't say it's a dislike. I chose a single room to save money. It had everything i needed, and the staff were fantastic. Will definitely come again.
