Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Livingston Yellowstone

Die Zimmer sind groß und sauber. Das Badezimmer/ die Dusche ist klasse - keine Wanne. Das Frühstück war prima, hier findet jeder etwas. Das Hotel macht einen gepflegten Eindruck. Das Personal war sehr freundlich.

We stayed at this property for 5 nights in August. We were never greeted, thanked or even acknowledged in any way as a Bonvoy member. If you are a Marriott Bonvoy member with status - do NOT expect any of your benefits to be honored at this property. They very much run a “Heads in Beds” model and will squeeze you for an extra dollar. I fully understand that their season is short and they have to pay bills and they are in business to make money. But as a traveler we choose to stay in Marriott or Hyatt due to our membership status. We will pay extra to stay at a Marriott with the expectation that we will be treated as a valued guest. We travel a lot and this hotel should not have its Marriott brand if they are not willing to honor Bonvoy benefits. So, the stay was unremarkable other than it was like pulling teeth from the front desk manager for the one night room upgrade a kind desk agent gave us when I called. We had 4 nights booked, I added a 5th night and when I booked there were only queen rooms available. I called a week prior and an afternoon desk agent upgraded us to a King room (our other 4 nights were booked in a King) so we would not have to move. When we checked in we had been charged an extra $43.00 dollars. It took us 3 days to get them to issue a credit - it was ridiculously difficult and the woman that finally agreed to do it acted like it came from her paycheck. Not a pleasant experience and certainly not what I expect as a “valued” guest. Like I said “Heads in Beds”….would I stay here again - NO….would I recommend it to a friend - NO….there are lots of options in this area. I am sure someone else would appreciate your loyalty more than this property.

Le confort de la chambre et des lits. Salle de bain agréable et propre. Petit déjeuner à volonté et très bon.

Notre chambre était située côté route et donc la nuit a été compliquée à cause du traffic routier.

The experience as a whole

On reflection this morning, we have had a $25 deduction from our Mastercard, but don’t know why. We did not break or damaged anything in the room. Could you please inform us why ??

Hotel is nice, clean and the breakfast was good. We enjoyed our stay but wish we could have canceled one night a week ago as our itinerary changed and we had to move on.

exorbitantly expensive rip off of a hotel with no air circulation whatsoever, sweltering hot, no ac, sealed shut windows, toilet barely flushed, ghetto joke pools, didn’t sleep at all. don’t stay here. next time i will just bring a tent & sleep outside.

The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. However, the standard frequency of the housekeeping was only every other day. Also, the towels were very worn and not absorbent and the bath amenities were limited to the very basics (soap, shampoo, conditioner). Last but not least, the breakfast was limited and unappealing and we used it only when we were in rush. Overall, not what we were expecting from a Marriott and for the $ we paid.
