"Abjectly disappointing other than location."

Location

When we arrived we were not told there was no running hot water. The following morning we were told the boiler was ‘busted’ as they said. We were due to stay a second night and travel straight to work but could not stay as we could not due to there being no shower facilities for 2nd day. Litter under bed so not cleaned properly and we messaged in advance to notify one of us was vegan for breakfast purposes. There was no soya milk or dairy free butter so no cereal or toast available for husband. Could hear complaints in kitchen when asked for poached egg rather than fried.

"Dreadful and no cheap by any means"

Location great and staff (especially Michelle and Tom) very nice and helpful.

No heating on in the bedrooms. When I asked I was told if heating was put on in my room it would have to be on in all the rooms. I was given a small electric heater which did help but in my opinion not good enough. Mattress was dreadful well beyond its replacement date. Duvet cover old and faded but was clean. Shower toilet was spotless but no heating of any kind there. I stayed from Thursday to Sunday and room was not serviced during that period.

Room was very clean and freshly refurbished, still had a slight smell of paint

Room was cold with no heating despite request, mattress very cheap and uncomfortable. Duvet was paper thin and no hot water in the morning

Shower very smal but it was powerful and hot, otherwise we had a great stay.
