Hotel Republika

Nice hotel with big rooms in a very quiet neighborhood. Front desk staff was very friendly and efficient. The location was about 10 mins drive to downtown Zagreb and they also provided free parking. We opted to include the breakfast and it was plentiful. Overall we had a very nice and comfortable stay at the hotel, I highly recommened it!

Wonderful property! Very clean and extremely friendly and helpful staff. It was a 20 minute walk to the city center, which was through a nice park. Also, it is only a five dollar Uber ride from the city center to the hotel, which was nice after a long day of walking around the city center to be able to get a ride back up to the hotel. And the breakfast was amazing! Highly recommend!

Hospitable people (waiters in the restaurant)

At first, I was not allowed to take advantage of the late check out opportunity due to the fact that we stayed at the hotel for only one night. Not very smart, I think. If you have a guest for only one night, then you don't need to clean up after him. You can change the beds and vacuum, maybe. All of these will take at least an hour.. The waiters from the restaurant was responsible for check in and checking out the guests. The administrator did not show up. By the way, the waiters on the day of arrival and on the day of departure were very pleasant people who were ready to help even in what was not their job. And the cook managed to dry the chicken breast in the bacon so much that it was unpleasant to eat it. But the most important thing is that you turn on the air conditioner and, despite the fact that it has not cooled to the set temperature, it turns off exactly half an hour later. I almost suffocated last night! I had to wake up six times a night to turn on the air conditioner. This is an extremely inconvenient decision and the night was terrible!
