Gillespie Apartments - Spectacular Penthouse

Nice view amd the location was great.

Stairs and difficulty parking at times.

The location was amazing. The loft was great as well! We really enjoyed our stay.

Very clean and steps away from Old Course. Easy check in/check out. Quiet and comfortable.

Really nothing to complain about our stay. Parking can be a tough on certain days/nights/.

Lockbox

The properly wasn’t cleaned properly. There was mouldy milk in the coffe throthing machine. It would have killed you if you didn’t notice it and clean before hand. The pots had food residue stuck to them. We couldn’t even heat our toddlers milk up because it was so dirty. The windows where covered in dirty snf one of the main windows you couldn’t even see out of! I paid £600 for 2 nights and left the Saturday morning I was so annoyed! The view was the main selling point and the dirt on the windows was disgusting and obstructing the view

Location near town and facilities. Views of West Sands. Spacious apartment.

It would be valuable to have mirrors in he bedrooms for blow drying hair/ doing makeup etc. There didn’t seem to be any outside bins for the property except composting The locks to the doors on the balcony need some attention.

Excellent location and layout for our group of 2 couples. Was a last minute find for us (2 hours before check in) when our airbnb fell through. Staff was very easy to work with on a Friday PM. Parking convenient but can fill up at peak times- car park very close if street parking is full.

Sun rises early in summer so would be nice to have curtains for light sensitive people to avoid 4:30am wake ups. However, the early wake up does afford a beautiful view of the beach!

The bedrooms and en-suite facilities were excellent. Kitchen very well equipped.

The external facade was pretty shabby.

The appartment is in a fabulous location, beautiful views. It has everything needed to be comfortable, very comfortable beds and good heating, clean bathrooms and very nice living space. Very well placed to explore all of St Andrews and easy to park.

The outside of the accomodation is a bit neglected, the windows were so stained by the seagulls that the view which is magnificent was impacted. Explanations on where to find the key not completely evident. Host cannot be joined over the weekend if necessary. A little pricey for what it is but in line with the nicer accomodations in St Andrews.
