Sheraton Kunming

The rooms are amazing with all sorts of amenities to wish for. However, I'd appreciate that all toiletry amenities whether it's condoms, sanitary napkins, etc., should be FREE! If the hotel wishes to charge patrons for using them, make sure there are signs or warnings to make aware that if they broke the box or used any of these amenities they'd be charged. The room's curtains are automatically withdrawn with a touch of a button on the switches panel. That's awesome! IDD calls are indeed free anywhere in the world, that's shockingly a first and a surprise for me! No other countries will ever do that.

OH MY GOD! The so-called Southeast Asian restaurant, at the ground floor, is a SHAM! The restaurant can fool Chinese people and tourists, but not Southeast Asians! And they embarrass me with the 'Laksa' cuisine that's naively bad and looked fakery. The restaurant not only embarrass me but the state of Penang in Malaysia! Why didn't the chef, at least, consult Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, and Thailand, before they even make those dishes for profit? Please don't have any references to any Southeast Asian countries, and just called it Seafood Restaurant!

very nice hotel, ambiance is good. the front staffs are helpful even for the baggage check-in process was smooth, definitely second for more stays here one day!

AC has a bit noise

Breakfast area is still too crowded, experience is not good due to the food on reserved sign table was moved by other guest, I had to ask staff to dump all food and fetch food again. I arrived late night but I was waked up by morning call to go downstair for breakfast, it is not my request and I was disturbed. Wish the hotel could improve the service

Modern, new and well appointed rooms with helpful staff. Room air conditioning wouldn’t cool the room - 27 degrees in the middle of winter. Otherwise great stay.
