Unser Aufenthalt im Convento San Bartolomeo war wunderbar. Das Frühstück war liebevoll angerichtet und bot eine sehr schöne Auswahl. Die Aussicht vom Pool ist traumhaft – perfekt, um einfach abzuschalten und den Moment zu geniessen. Auch die Suite hat uns ausgesprochen gut gefallen: stilvoll, ruhig und mit viel Charme. Der Service war jederzeit aufmerksam und zuvorkommend – wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt. Ein Ort mit besonderer Atmosphäre, den wir gerne weiterempfehlen!

Etwas enttäuscht waren wir jedoch vom Pool: Wir hatten uns sehr darauf gefreut, dort zu baden, doch das Wasser war leider kalt – obwohl der Pool laut Beschreibung beheizt sein sollte. Das war schade und hat den ansonsten wunderbaren Aufenthalt etwas getrübt.

The property was a fantastic walk through history. The grounds and the building are meticulously kept by a very friendly and extremely helpful staff. Everyone speaks English and eager to help with anything needed from ironing boards to restaurant reservations.

Una gran experiencia, el convento está muy bien adaptado pero conserva el ambiente de silencio y el entorno de un lugar de muchos siglos atrás. El personal del hotel está muy comprometido con el trabajo de que la estancia sea memorable. Son todos muy amables.

Overall the property takes your breath away. It is a renovated monastery and u feel the atmosphere in every corner. Very friendly stuff espacially Vallerio, who knows the best restaurants in the town.
