Hotel Pelita Terang

* In a reasonably quiet area at night (depending on your room). Other guests are respectful compared to other hotels of the same price. * Reasonably cheap. * Friendly staff and will be quick when you request something (even if they are busy). * Reasonable location, some eateries and convenience stores nearby. Some stay open late, some don’t. * Allowed me to check in early. * Can prepay with credit card. * AC working but remote control didn’t (for my particular room). * Lift and stairs options (but lift sometimes not working). * Pictures accurate to room. * Offered daily room service (but will respect your wishes of space). * Can bolt door at night. * Place to store items, so you can unpack if you want. * Place in bathroom for toiletries. * Plenty of room space. * Tables and chairs provided. * Has a bucket and scoop for bathing but also a shower head. * Enjoyed staying here so I extended my dates.

* Location is a little far away from Nagoya Hill shopping mall and hilly. * Bed in my room very creaky with the slightest movement. * Can be noisy during the day due to being around industries and sometimes selfish guests. * Needed a little extra cleaning on arrival. * Door lock is not secure when going out. * Toilet has no cistern so must do a manual flush. * Has a bucket and scoop (which would be annoying if you are a foreigner not used to this). * Water pressure on shower head very weak. * AC remote for my room not working. (Probably needs fixing). * Powerboard provided was faulty (I had to use my own). * Drain grill was blocked in bathroom due to grime buildup. (Had to flip grill up to allow drainage). * Still require a confirmation of date and time of arrival even though prepaid. Does this by contacting you on Whatsapp and providing another number for you to contact yourself.
