Kaikoura Luxury Apartments - Formerly Waves Luxury Apartments

This was a perfect location with wonderful views from the balcony and a place to park the car. We were more than surprised at how comfortable and beautiful this facility was. Thank you.

We loved everything

The location and view

It was unusual that the check in reception was a neighbouring hotel, this was unexpected. There was a clear sign to walk around, when i got there the reception was not manned so another prompt to pick up the phone and call for staff. Once staff arrived i was quickly given the key and instructions.

The apartment is large, and well equipped with everything we needed. It is well sited in the town and provides easy access to both the town centre and to areas such as Fyffe House. Car parking is available on site and two spaces appeared to be available for each apartment. We had an issue with a light switch not working, and once we notified reception it was quickly repaired by an electrician, so we were very happy with the responsiveness.

The location was great and accommodation lovely.

The wifi was a tad slow and the weather wasn't kind to us.

Everything! The apartment was the perfect size for 2 adults and 2 teens. Clean and tidy facilities. There was a washing machine and dryer, with laundry powder which was fantastic.

Originally booked an apartment with a lift but upon given key no lift was evident. Also told to park in one spot then told to park in another. Frustrating.

The apartments are great for when we have staff traveling for work as they are two bedrooms and common lounge and kitchen area. Both rooms have their own bathrooms which is also a bonus.

The staff appreciated that the bedrooms and also the lounge area had Alexa styled speakers in them, the only cause for concern is that the units are fitted with cameras. Apparently, there is a sign saying that they are manually turned off, but as my guy found these can also be easily turned on. So, they unplugged them. Its great that the units are provided but sad that they have a camera function.
