Absolutely garbage experience. I called specifically to see if they had a stovetop in the room and they said yes. You have to sign out a small burner with a skillet barely big enough to cook a burger on.

"My Stay Away from home Due to A house fire"

This Home 2 Suites is a nice hotel. They gave outstanding customer service for being short staffed. It was like the Waldorf Astoria but cheaper. Everyone that worked at the hotel were nice people.

"Less than stellar customer service"

We love Home2 Suites. It is our go to hotel. With that being said, this was a disappointment! First off, it is a combo hotel with Hilton Garden Inn, strange in itself. When we walked in, the lady at the desk looked up and never spoke or greeted us. I said my name and she proceeded to find my reservation. She was not the least bit friendly, nor acted as if she wanted to be there. She handed me the key, never saying the room number, never saying where the elevator was, never mentioning breakfast and never said thank you or NOTHING! My husband asked if we could have bottled water and she said we were only blue members so we were not entitled to free water. You would think $150 room would at least get you a bottled water. Our room was fine, but the pillows, as always, not great. The next morning when we went to breakfast, we had no idea where to go, so we walked around the lobby, as there was no one at the front desk. The lobby is shared with Hilton Garden Inn. We saw the dining room, so thought that's where we were supposed to go, but there was no food to be found. The guy brought us a menu, then we asked about breakfast. He said oh free breakfast is across the lobby at Home2 Suites. We felt like idiots, had no clue! When we walked back past the front desk, I yelled at a lady in the back, which said she was the manager. We told her our experience and she said she would have a talk with the lady that was there the previous night. This was not the standard we expected from Home2 Suites and did not understand the concept of sharing a hotel with Hilton Garden Inn.
