Nothing, to be fair … the location is kinda good as it’s in CBD

Almost everything, first it says free parking but turned out to be a street parking that’s free only after a specific hour. Nothing looks like the pictures posted, the bathroom picture is cropped and that particular bathroom is like a lake because of the water on the floor, the sinks are toooo small that is hard to wash hands or use it after brushing your teeth, there’s a bathroom in the “back yard” that has spider webs in it (big ones) and didn’t have soap, some couches were there that look like they got them as hard rubbish or so. The beddings and bed sheets look like they haven’t been washed for ages, I think it’s not expensive to use fabric softer to give a good smell for the people when they use them! ventilation system is another thing, I could barely breathe because we were six in the room. In general it’s not clean.

Friendly staff and the other occupants were respectful. Very nice time.

Out side on the road got a bit rowdy, but you expect that in the heart of Adelaide

I liked we were in a all female room

U won’t be able to sleep because there are very noisy people outside at night

I found the location to be convenient and only a short distance from the things i wanted to see and do.The room was clean with crisp clean sheets and only a short distance to toilets and showers.The bed was comfortable and there was a quite remarkable quietness during the nights after going to bed.As a traveller over many years i enjoyed conversations with the young people i met in Shingos.Jo, the manager, made me feel most welcome on checkin and assisted with a winery trip i had organised during my stay.She offered to help further if needed.

Because the building is very old many of the fittings are dated but i feel great value for money is offered.Also as Shingos has many residents who are working staying there ,the kitchen could be quite crowded, also the fridges.But i didn't find this to be a major problem and the free coffee and tea was a nice touch.
