"Good for the price"

Good hotel, helpful staff accommodated me despite being busy. Good communication before I arrived so I knew how to get in. Delicious dinner, really enjoyed that.

Room was very small, and pillow so flat I used my bag underneath to give it some height.

Very comfortable and showers were really good.

On Wednesday I think Colditz has 1/2 day closing as eating is very limited. Hotel unmanned with no option for evening meal or bar.

Tijdens ons verblijf van 1 nacht hebben wij geen personeel gezien. We hadden een beetje het gevoel van een spookhotel. Kamer was gedateerd maar schoon en de rest van het hotel was leeg. Zeer bijzondere ervaring.

"Interesting to say the least . Kitchen staff showed up just before we where to go ."

The code to the side door was emailed to us . We let ourselves in and found our room . We never saw anyone until we came to leave and we gave our money to the kitchen staff for our nights stay .We did drink 3 beers from the fridge but the kitchen staff did not charge us for them . We never even saw any other guests if there was any . I was really strange not seeing anyone from the hotel . If I was to go back to Colditz Castle again I would stay there again .

Everything was good .
