NLLocation is good, and the room is relatively spacious
The shared facilities lack consideration. There is only one sink and one shower to be shared . Also it smelled bad with fried food in the mornings

AUThe couple running the place are lovely and accommodating. They gave us the rundown of the rules and gave us a tour of the place and our room. They even gave us a map of recommendations of restaurants and spots which was very helpful! I visited the recommended bathhouse and visited it both nights I stayed at the guesthouse. For an authentic experience staying in a Japanese home I highly recommend staying here. Just take care to keep volume down past 11pm, the walls are very thin!
The walls are thin so you will hear guests moving around or talking despite the owners asking guests to keep volume down after 11pm. That is no fault of the owners at all.
AUI liked how authentic it was, definitely felt like I was in Japan. The style of the interior is very nicely done.
I didn’t mind it, but having to walk quite a bit for dinner or breakfast was a downfall, I mainly had to rely on 711 for breakfast.
PLIt was a wonderful experience to stay in a truly authentic Japanese house. Guesthouse Kyoto is absolutely beautiful and has a unique charm. If you are looking for a genuine Japanese experience, you should definitely book a room here. The owners are extremely friendly and patient.

BEL acceuil , l aide de l hôtelière, la configuration de la.maison et le respect du silence. C est un beau et bon pied a terre. Si ça avait été libre plis longtemps j y serai resté.
