B&B La Nona

Location & felt at home.

The host Rene was very friendly and gave us a lot of information about the city and how to get around. I would definitely come back for another stay.

We loved the warm welcome, the quiet, comfortable room, the location, most of all we loved the people. Rene and his family made us feel at home. They are beautiful people who offer a special experience in their home just a hop, step and jump from nearly everything we wanted to see in Valpo. Rene communicates well before and during the stay, and provides excellent information and advice. We had wonderful chats about all sorts of things! Nonita (Rene’s mum) is delightful and we had some (thanks Google Translate) lovely chats with her too. Carolina and the girls are also lovely and make space for their guests. All in all, a most enjoyable stay.

Dit verblijf bij sportleraar René & zijn gezin was een hoogtepunt tijdens mijn Chili-reis. Hij runt een gezellige b&b en een handige wasserette. Mijn kamer op de begane grond was erg schoon en beschikte over een uitstekende matras en een keurige badkamer. Ik kreeg hier het beste ontbijt van mijn hele reis door Chili voorgeschoteld: gezonde fruitsalade, verse broodjes van de lokale bakker, divers beleg, een eitje indien gewenst en… goeie koffie (in plaats van oploskoffie, zoals vaak het geval elders in Chili). René is een voormalig toeristische gids en daardoor een enorme bron van informatie. Dankzij zijn connecties maakte ik trouwens een prachtige paardrijtocht over het strand en door de duinen van Ritoque – een absolute aanrader (al was mijn bips het daar achteraf iets minder eens mee ;-). René zijn supergezellige b&b ligt trouwens ideaal en veilig, hoog in de oude stad, wat prettig is aangezien Valparaiso ook wat rauwere wijken kent.

Nous avons apprécié l'accueil chaleureux et les nombreux conseils de visites, adaptés à nos attentes. René est très disponible, toute l'équipe est attentionnée. L'ambiance est familiale et on se sent bien chez La Nona ! Le petit déjeuner est délicieux et généreux.

René und seine Familie sind wundervolle Gastgeber! Die Zimmer und das ganze Haus sind mit viel Liebe eingerichtet und das Frühstück wurde ebenfalls immer mit Liebe zubereitet und stand jederzeit für mich bereit - auch, wenn es mal später wurde :) Die Lage ist perfekt, um Valparaíso zu Fuß zu erkunden und im touristischen Bezirk Cerro Alegre auch ziemlich sicher. Ich habe mich jederzeit sicher und super willkommen gefühlt. Beim nächsten Besuch in Valpo komme ich auf jeden Fall wieder! :)

The payment arrangements are unnecessarily complicated and an outlier for homestay accommodation. It took too much effort to pay. This was not my experience with other properties in Chile on Indeed elsewhere

Rene, unser Gastgeber, war sehr freundlich und hat sich viel Mühe gegeben, uns so viele Infos wie möglich über seine Heimatstadt zu geben. Besonders gut fanden wir das Frühstück, das jeden Morgen frisch zubereitet wird. Das war vermutlich eines der besten Frühstücks die wir je in einem B&B hatten!
