René was a warm and welcoming host, full of information and recommendations to share about Valpo and the surrounding area. He made a brilliant breakfast every day and we really enjoyed chatting with him and other guests about music, culture and life in general. He even made pisco sours for us one night. The rooms were simple but very comfortable and location was perfect- I can't recommend La Nona enough!

René and Carolina are the best hosts. They are very disponible, with good advices, helpfull, and very nice people. The breakfast is fabulous (balanced and diversified) with a new home made twist every morning. Our four days stay was the best time we had during our three months in Chile. Loic and Sylvie

The location is perfect in the middle of the old town surrounded by bars and restaurants. The hostel was one of the most hostile places I visited during my 6 weeks trip through Chile. And that has a lot to do with René, the host. He is really trying to make the best out of the stay in Valparaiso and gives a lot of hints and tips and takes his time for conversations not only about Valparaiso, also about lots of other topics. Breakfast is happening with all travellers at the same table wich always meant good conversations in the morning and I have to say breakfast is fantastic - it's alone a reason to stay at this hostel. I wish I can return one day to this fantastic hostel.

Can't say enough about this B&B. Rene and his family were so welcoming, helpful and lovely. We have made new friends. The room was comfortable, shower was warm and the location is great. Safe area with lots of cafes and restaurants nearby. Also a great breakfast. We will be staying here again if we are ever back in Valparaiso.

We were so lucky to find B&B La Nona. The warmest, most helpful host, a super comfy bed, a lovely location, and a friendly cat. One of my best places we've ever stayed - and we'll certainly be back.
