Hotel Villa Magus

Very clean, the staff was very nice. Awesome restaurant! We had the best view in the hotel!

The water in the pool was not hot. It was rather cold, and the temperature outside was 1°-2°, which was unpleasant. But the sauna was very nice!

The staff is very polite, the views from the rooms are breathtaking, the rooms are big, clean and nice, they even preheated them for our arrival. The sauna is big, the pool is clean and warm (30C).

The restaurant is quite expensive - the value for money is not good. 9bgn for soup and 30bgn for pork is toooooo high. There are not enough parking spaces if the hotel is full. We were not notified prior to our arrival that the breakfast will not be on a block table. The spa zone should be warmer so you’re not freezing when going out of the pool area.

There was no big problem during our stay, but I think there weren't a lot of guests. We didn't use the SPA area and pool though, so I can't evaluate them. The staff is friendly.

The rooms are enormous but the bathroom is very tiny, so tiny that you constantly hit yourself on the edges of the furniture. This is not a big problem, but I think the problem is the breakfast, which is simply not enough. I understand that when the hotel is empty, they don"t want to make big buffet, but the breakfast packages you can choose from are simply not enough. Especially the French breakfast package - it was ONE piece of fruit, some croissants, TWO pieces of old cheese and some spread and jam. The fitness breakfast was just a bit of yoghurt, musli and grapes.

This is definetely a great place to relax and stay away from all city noises. Located in mountain and forest it literally gives you the silence both day and night, you only hear the nature sounds. If you want real silence and reax I would recommend staying there monday-thurstday where the guests count (and the noise respectivly) is minimal. We really enjoyed it.

The restaurant is a way too expensive. But can't complain the serice and the food quality.
