I booked 2 rooms 1 (room 103)was clean and ok and had all the facilities they said on line. 1(room 112) clean bedding but everything else was either dirty or dusty plus right next to the smoking room for the employees so smelled of stale smoke plus weird smell in bathroom. Nobody on reception, rang number I found on a bit of paper there told them that I would like to check they said ok then put the phone down on me. Eventually found a email from them with room numbers we had been given plus lock box codes to get into the rooms

Das Personal war immer hilfsbereit und freundlich. Die Duschtüren waren nicht dicht, so dass das Bad anschließend halb unter Wasser stand. Beim Betreten des Zimmers roch es sehr intensiv und unangenehm vermutlich nach einem Lufterfrischer. Der Totalausfall des TV war jedoch das größte Manko. Ob es am Gerät lag oder am Anbieter können wir nicht beurteilen. Die Lage des Hotels im lebhaften Zentrum war für uns okay. Das Schloss und der Altstadtkern waren bequem zu Fuß zu erreichen. Das Hotel hat keine eigenen Parkplätze. Öffentliche Parkplätze waren nur in einiger Entfernung vom Hotel und da auch nur in begrenzter Anzahl vorhanden. Das Frühstücksbuffet war schön angerichtet und für uns ausreichend.

The entire hotel was freely accessible without staff. The keys to the rooms were in the code boxes in the corridors. The room was clean and the beds comfortable.

Some elements such as the rusty radiator would need to be replaced. The corridor of the hotel looks neglected, the carpets are full of large dirty stains. We chose this hotel because of the possibility of an early breakfast, from 6:30. Unfortunately, there was no breakfast and no staff at 7:45 in the morning after an hour of waiting. When we inquired on the phone, we were told that the breakfast preparation staff did not show up and that they would refund us for the breakfast. We travel a lot, but we haven't encountered this before.

A reasonable accommodation option in the heart of Rastatt old town. my room was comfortable and spacious.

The hotel is very old and tired with hallways lined with heavily stained, frayed carpets. There were almost no guests staying here so the hotel was operating as a 'lights-off' operation with staff in attendance for a couple of hours each morning. When I arrived after lunch, reception was closed. The whole hotel was dead! A message at reception advised to send a message to a phone number on WhatsApp. I was instructed to wait for someone to come to the hotel to hand me my room key. Breakfast each morning was very uninspired and very average.

Where it was located.

I did not see anyone the whole time I was there that worked in the hotel, no one on reception. A double bed was given to me and my 13 year old son. No wardrobe. Didn’t top up coffee. Ran out of toilet paper. Leak under toilet. Didn’t make up the room.

The room was clean and comfortable. The check-in process was seamless and didn't require any personal interaction, so can be done at any time. The breakfast was also nice and overall value is very good for the price. I left some personal belongings in the hotel, and the staff was very kind to send them to me by post!
