Residence Inn by Marriott Marina del Rey

Tried to check in early but room was not available (which is fine). Spent $30US at the bar (2 drinks!) Waiting until guaranteed check-in... No room available. Service was friendly but I did have to remind I'd been up since 4am and on a flight. Magic was worked and we were allocated a room shortly after 4pm. The hotel is beautiful. Modern and amazing setting. Beautiful views. Quiet area. Rooms are modern and well equipped (kitchen). Bed so comfortable, bathroom modern. View of marina breath taking. Not many bars / restaurants around in walking distance, drinks at hotel bar we found to be very expensive. We Ubered to a few places. Had some lovely walks in the VB canal area and several walks all the way to Santa Monica. Breakfast is pre packaged due to COVID but plenty to choose from. Lovely views.

Staff was AMAZING! Very polite, like EVERYONE on staff greeted us! Great facility & location too.

Great property with great restaurant

It is right on the Marina and minutes away from the beach. Beautiful and clean rooms.

Excellent location - fantastic spot right on the marina - a walk to the beach or great dining and shopping spots in MDR. We spent a month traveling in CA and this was one of our stops.

Great hotel in a fabulous location with an attentive staff. We’ll be back.

Great hotel but $46.00 dollars a day for parking was just plan gouging.

The hotel area was great but I did not get the room I booked. I booked and paid extra for a balcony and a marina view for our anniversary. Upon checkin, we got balcony room with no view and then were moved to a partial marina view with no balcony. The hotel was out of balcony view rooms so we took that room and a credit but we still didn’t get the room we wanted. All else was good with the stay.

Beautiful hotel and property, but The front hotel staff are rude and lack customer service skills..had a reservation for 4 nights left after the first night.
