Budget Hotel Ludwigshafen

It was a fairly well maintained room. Staff was friendly enough. They fixed a broken shower head for me. Room appeared to be recently updated.

WiFI did not work all weekend. Description of the Area used the term"Dining Area" there was nothing in the immediate are. There was a restaurant about a 10 minute walk away but I hardly call that a "Dining Area". Neighborhood was actually a bit desolate and littered with many nearby storefronts shuttered and a lot of construction going on the vicinity. Construction also made navigating the streets and public transit a bit confusing with many detours in this area. Hotel was equally hard to find due to it being off the main street and in an alleyway.

Das WiFi funktioniert nicht richtig.

Vor allem der Preis. Für so wenig Geld habe ich noch nie genächtigt (im Erwachsenenalter). Ich hatte das Schlimmste befürchtet, was Sauberkeit und Seriösität angeht. Die Tapete könnte mal gestrichen werden. Ansonsten alles sehr sauber. Im Bad funktionierte alles. Auch das Frühstück gab's zum Dumpingpreis. Natürlich nicht so opulent, wie man das gewohnt ist in größeren Hotels. Aber für knapp sieben Euro kann man keine große Auswahl verlangen. Die Lage: naja, Hinterhofcharme eingerahmt in Autobahnbrücken. Alleinreisende Damen könnten sich unsicher fühlen. Aber Ludwigshafen ist wohl nirgendwo wirklich sicher oder gar schön. Nur fünf Minuten Fußweg zur Bahn. Von dort ruckzuck übern Rhein nach Mannheim Mitte. Toptipp für Sparfüchse.

Es gibt einen Kaffeeautomaten auf dem Flur. Ein Getränkeautomat fiel mir leider nicht ins Auge.

Sehr zuvorkommendes und freundliches Personal inklusive Chef. Waren sehr bemüht es dem Gast recht zu machen.
