The property was beautifully appointed and close to many attractions. What I did Not like is that no one told us about the pool, garden, sauna or hot tub. Maybe it was a secret, but why not inform us when checking in? I also think that at these prices, there should be no charge for wifi. $12.95 seems cheap to charge your guests when they are spending over a $1,000. For 2 nights, but hey it's a Marriott, so not that surprising. We were told to downl9ad the Bonvoy app, which I wasn't able to do, but my husband was. We are just so tired of being nickled & dimed for small things from huge corporations. 🙄

The guest service man named José checked us into the hotel and was very warm and welcoming as well as all other staff we interacted with. Our room was absolutely beautiful and modern finishes, and had the best views of the city! It was our anniversary and our experience has us planning future visits. We were pleasantly surprised when we were told we got an upgrade to our room. We ordered room service and got spaghetti and meatballs that tasted fresh and was served nice and hot. The outdoor heated pool was also a fun addition to our visit. Overall excellent experience for our special celebration.

Im so suprised this hotel only has an average rating. It is sooooo good! From the moment you enter it feels exciting. Staff is friendly. There was fruit/water and coffee in the lobby. There was a beautiful bar. The decorations are exquisite. My room had a king bed and overlooked the city. The best way I can describe the room is it was SEXY! Dark walls with expensive trim and decor. It was just beatiful and gave a whole sexy vibe. Perfect for a couples getaway. The rooftop pool and bar was beautiful. Honestly I loved everything about this stay and if I am ever back in Philly this is my go to spot! Wish I had pictures to share!

While the location of this hotel is excellent I would select another hotel. I am a Bonvoy elite member and have stayed in Bonvoy properties throughout the world, This hotel is has a dark lobby and interior. While the rooms are a good size, they are extremely dark. There is no concierge and no hotel restaurant. The breakfast for members is served in an attached restaurant not owned by Bonvoy. The front desk workers are cold and short in their responses. There are so many hotels to select and I feel at the W's price point there are much better choices in the area.
