Hotel Mosella

Heel ruime kamers en mooie ruime badkamer. Het ontbijt was ook meer als genoeg. Ook is het een enorm mooie streek om te wandelen, zowel tussen de wijngaarden als bossen.

Het avondeten is in buffetvorm en dit was 1 keer minder, maar de andere dagen viel het dan wel weer mee.

Ein familiäres hotel mit viel Tradition. Das Haus ist alt und verwinkelt, inklusive urigem Gewölbekeller in dem auch das Frühstück serviert wird. Mein Zimmer war erstaunlich modern. Das Bett war bequem und es war angenehm ruhig. Beim Frühstück war alles grundlegend vorhanden und lecker. Schön wäre noch frisches Obst gewesen, es gab lediglich Obstsalat aus der Dose. Insgesamt ein sehr netter Aufenthalt mit besonders freundlichem und zuvorkommenden Personal. In der Nähe des Bahnhofs und der Mosel gelegen ein guter Ausgangspunkt für die gesamte Gegend.

A charming place. The historic exterior belies homely rooms, though the inside is a bit of a warren. The Town is lovely. Everyone who works there is warm and welcoming. Can only recommend a visit to here and to Bullay, which is a good base for the Moselle.

Great staff, extremely helpful and super kind. The room was renovated, spacious and had a good fan for the hot nights. Very well situated, close to the mosel, the train and a winery. The breakfast was very complete: muesli, eggs, cold cuts, breads, cheeses; you make it.

The catering for evening meal and breakfast was very good. I always am bemused by the German way of having tables allocated to guests in a with a kind of insistence that you must sit there, which brings out the naughty schoolboy in me. The staff were lovely, the bier was good.

Our rooms were up a couple of steep and narrow stairways which wasn't a probelm for me but my mate found it difficult.

Das Personal war außergewöhnlich zuvorkommend.

First Hotels charged my cc for the stay.. during check out the lady at the front desk charged us for the stay saying she had not received payment from hotels.com (ekspedia). So people you are herby warned.. The check in process was also a mess.
