Spent four nights here while attending a convention at the George R. Brown Convention Center. It's somewhat of a commute but the prices were a lot more reasonable than those close to the convention center. Hotel was clean and had onsite security and I never felt unsafe. Free breakfast was marginal. Not a lot of selection and no easy to get "grab and go" options. No onsite restaurant. I didn't take advantage of any amenities; just needed a place to sleep and it was good for that. Room was clean and fairly modern with USB connections in multiple locations in the room. Wi-Fi worked well in the room and in the common areas. Would stay again.

The General Manager Crystal Jackson and staff Briana and Alondra offered the absolute best customer service. We stayed there due to bereavement and Crystal along with the staff at the Hampton were courteous and professional and were sensitive to our needs. The rooms were clean and the cleaning staff were helpful and resourceful. The location was great- near restaurants, the main highway, stores etc. Breakfast was great. Considering the proximity of the freeway to the hotel the surrounding area was quiet. Crystal Jackson and staff........keep up the good work!!
