Long Eaton Modern 4bed House

The washing machine broke with our clothes locked inside, and several items were ruined. We were promised compensation and a repair during our stay, but once we checked out we never heard anything back. Very unprofessional. The apartment was dirty when we arrived – the washing machine had not even been emptied, and there was a used towel inside. The outdoor area was disgusting, with overflowing trash, cigarette butts, beer cans, and a broken backyard door. I strongly recommend avoiding this place and anything managed by Prim Short Stay.

Good location clean comfy beds nice sized bedrooms

Parking was confusing as was told there was a driveway to park but there is no driveway at the property. Road is for permit holders only and only 1 permit

Location was perfect for our visit. Towels provided which were clean along with clean bed linen.

From holes in walls, leaking radiator (been like it for a while due to pool of water on floor on arrival), leaking windows when raining, broken TV, radiators not adequate size to heat some rooms, damage to kitchen cupboards and worktop, filthy microwave (so bad made me heave), filthy oven, plugs for sink were faulty so couldn't run sink of water to wash dishes, floor was filthy in living/kitchen area, light broken in one of the bedrooms, trim around door missing leaving jagged bits of wood sticking out, green felt pen on doors, damage to living room flooring, broken headboard, carpets hadn't been hoovered let alone cleaned as bits of dirt and thread in every room and on stairs and a broken TV. Living l/Dining area has a very low (no more than 6 inches of the floor) 2 str sofa which my mother could bit sit on due to the how low it was and then had 2 up chairs and 4 dining chairs and a table, not ideal if yiu were booking for 8 guests (luckily we were only 3). Downstairs bedroom has front door open into the room (you access through the rear of property) and a very large bay window which makes this room freezing cold during our stay 22/11-24/11/24 I think that is all the list of issues we found during our 2 night stay (so glad it wasn't longer)! Location to the Spa we had booked

Lack of kitchen equipment, for example: only 5 forks, 2 wine glasses, 4 tumblers, 5 bowls including a big chip out of 1 of them, no baking trays. This is for a house that sleeps 8. No plug or bowl for the kitchen sink. Microwave disgusting 🤢 General cleanliness of kitchen not acceptable. No instructions for the heating. Only 4 dining chairs, legs broken off the sofa. No ceiling light bulb in one bedroom. Lacking in bedroom furniture- no bedside tables. Choice words on the headboard! The photos are VERY misleading and property has been dressed for them. Builders rubbish in front garden.

The property is on a street with residential parking restrictions and they only have 1 parking place which for a 4 bedroomed property is not sufficient. No information on where to park but managing agents eventually just told us to go to parkopedia. Not a great experience. They should be able to advise where the park locally free of charge or where paid parking is. Property also stank of cigarette smoke, this wasn't from the previous guests but was impregnated in the bedding as a long term smoker who must have been at the property, despite airing it was really unpleasant. Property also is for a stay where you are just sleeping in a room but the communal area is not appropriate for a 4 bedroomed property, there are not enough seats to sit together or to eat together so all family interaction was poor even having breakfast was a juggle as there just isn't enough room. The property has tried to make more revenue by maximising bedrooms at the cost of providing a comfortable BnB stay. There wasn't enough crockery to eat, only 2 cups for 6 guests but someone did come round and provide extra cups. No response on our feedback on leaving. We cut short our stay and left a night early.

It was a good location near shops and lock. Wasn't sure about the area but it was quiet. Bed were comfortable sheets lovely

2 of the showers unusable. One leaked into the bathroom. Other one was too hot. Reported it but no one came. Not enough crockery really for 6 guests. Lots of rubbish outside when we arrived. feel this could of been taken away. Very steep for children. No baking trays.
