"Met or exceeded expectation"

I mean, just about everything about it met or exceeded my expectations. I'm not a fancy person so a hot shower, a fairly comfortable bed and a decent view is all I can really ask for and this place had it all. I really enjoyed the touch of keeping some books in the room

The windows wouldnt stay open unless they were all the way open, but realistically that's the case with all old windows like that

All staff were super helpful and nice. They made my stay bearable.

Outdated, weird smell, not very clean, uncomfortable. Elevator is too slow. No AC, fan on the ceiling making noise. Nothing to like.

The management went beyond and were awesome. Room was clean and comfortable.

The bed was a bit too firm for my liking but others may prefer firm
