"Cozy Cabin, complete with Farm, near East entrance to Zion!"

8.0

What's not to like about a cute cabin on a small, privately owned farm, complete with a chicken welcome, goats, cattle, donkeys, horses, etc environment. Their takeout breakfast was delicious, Quiche to freshly baked goods and fresh fruit. Pick up your key on the desk in an envelope at the office, and proceed to your cabin! The grounds were well kept and you're encouraged to wander and meet the critters. We did catch a jeep tour to Peek A Boo slot canyon just down the street. Zion was a 30-40 mile switchback drive, beautiful!

We picked up hamburger and buns as arriving late, only to find a hot plate. Fine. No where to wash utensils, etc, except in the tub. TV would start but invariably just quit working at night at bedtime. I used my phone data to listen to Pandora. I loved the cabin, but my husband, not so much.

"nice, well located, but DO NOT expect a generous country breakfast"

6.0

Our cabin was warm, well-equipped for cooking, pleasant, and well decorated. We liked being there. The location is excellent: well-positioned for Zion, Bryce, or the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. Being on a farm is lovely, with lots of animals to look at (some of which may be cuddled). It was quiet, dark, and comfortable. There is wi-fi and a Roku TV, and they're both perfectly acceptable, given the very rural location. You can stargaze from the porch!

I had two issues, two minor, one more material, that led to my concluding our stay was 'pleasant' (6) rather than 'good' (7) or better. The material issue was breakfast. It simply isn't as I was led to expect on booking.com or the inn's website at the time of booking. The website (even now) is covered in picture of big plates of eggs and sausage, chafing dishes full of nice food, fruit, a pleasant room to eat it all in. Their website really majors on this stuff! It's like a whole section! So I was super excited by this. But what is *actually* provided - and I only found this out after paying the deposit - is a small carton of 'Country To Go' breakfast. What was in the carton was very tasty, but no substitute for a big country breakfast. When I asked about this, I was informed that they stopped providing their normal breakfast during Covid. That makes sense, but formal Covid restrictions ended long ago. When I asked about why this change was still in place, I was told they had some staffing challenges. I get it. I do sympathize. However, this was a huge let-down for me. I felt misled and overcharged. And hungry. 'Here's your food, now take it away and eat it in your room' is *such* a downer. I can only speculate as to why the website doesn't make this clear. The minor issue is that our cabin had some maintenance issues: cobwebs all over the mantle, and a flickering kitchen light that nobody fixed (even when I asked). The fleece blanket had holes. The other minor issue is that there's often nobody there, particularly on weekends when the cafe (which used to be the place you got breakfast) is closed. It all felt very impersonal and hands-off. Rather than the warm welcome we were expecting from a Country Inn Bed and Breakfast

"Great stay"

8.0

Great staff. Peaceful and relaxing after visiting adjacent National Parks. Great Breakfast in the morning. Nice setting. Enjoyed setting on the porch of the cabin in the evening. The Blue Mule which is on site offers some great dinner options so you don’t have to get up and go somewhere at the end of the day

Can’t really think of anything

Cabin was as advertised. Clean and well furnished. The daily breakfast was great for grabbing and heading out to the day’s adventures. Loved the farm with livestock and kitties.
