Vivid Blue Serenity Resort

This is a lovely hotel. Check in was smooth and easy and the staff were fantastic. The room was clean and the bed was massive and really comfortable. The breakfast was brilliant too with choice to order from the menu and a great selection. Swimming pool is small but has gorgeous views. The restaurant is great too and the view of the sunset is amazing! The sunbeds around the pool are also very comfortable. There is a free shuttle service to a nearby beach, we didn't use it ourselves but it was good to know it is there.

Unfortunately the location wasn't great for us despite lots of other positives. On holiday, we like to go out and explore the local area, however, if you just want to relax by the pool and eat at the hotel restaurant, this hotel would be perfect. There is a bus stop nearby which takes you into Budva however, you need to walk along a very busy road to get to it which was quite scary at times and the buses are also really infrequent (not the hotels fault at all). A taxi to/from Budva will cost 20€ and to/from Sveti Stefan, we were quoted both 15/20€ even though it is not far. People were also putting down towels to reserve sunbeds hours before actually using them. Again, this isn't the fault of the hotel but I feel they should do more to prevent this. The pool isn't large so it's not fair for people to reserve beds they aren't even using.

Gorgeous hotel. Great room, lovely staff and fab pool area. Spa looked nice too and although the gym was compact it had everything I needed.

The location isn’t optimal, you’re not able to walk anywhere so you’d definitely need a car. Was perfect for one night as part of our trip,
