Carolinian Beach Resort 1633

This place can use better cleaners also needs a update on furniture. I liked that it was close to everything and it included a buffet for breakfast every morning.

I enjoyed my stay at the Carolinian. The room was clean and the balcony had a nice view of the ocean. It is easy to walk to several restaurants and the boardwalk.

Overall was a good place to stay . Will probably return .

The front desk was so so. They would say one thing then it wouldn’t happen. We tried for an early check in but the room wasn’t ready. She had us fill out the paperwork and said she’d call us when the room was ready. This was around 1 and check in was 4. We never got a call. Went back at 4 and she acted like we never even spoke. Then we needed a plunger and she said she’d send someone right up and 3 hours later I went to the front desk and she said no one called her. Overall the property was nice the room was excellent the view was beautiful. Breakfast was really good and only a short walk away. The elevators did break down for a short while and we were on the 19th floor so that was a little inconvenience but they were up and running quickly. I’d stay there again.

My Family and I enjoyed our stay. Very cleaned easy access to all of the pools and beach. This location was not walking distance to shops and dinning (besides the include breakfast) Snack Bar had reasonable prices and ice cream in pool area was reasonable also.

Grounds are outdated and unkept. Garbage piling over near elevator, staff using a dirty shopping cart to transport towels. No beach towels provided and you’re not suppose to bring room towels to the beach. I don’t think it should be referred to as a beach resort if it doesn’t provide a basic amenity like a beach towel. The room itself was decently clean and somewhat updated. The bed was comfortable. Staff were friendly. Location is good about 15 minute brisk walk to the boardwalk. Parking is a block away in a garage. Annoying 10 digit code needed to enter room each time instead of a key. Probably wouldn’t stay here again but didn’t spent much time in the room or in the grounds.

Free buffet breakfast at restaurant for all 3 of us every morning within walking distance. Bed squeaked bad getting in & out, clean, roomy, near most things & could walk right out to beach. Elevator would only respond to "up" calls multiple nights & 1 of 2 hot tubs was not working any of our 5 nights. Overall B+

The unit smelled like urine. Especially in the morning. Left early, not nice to wake up to!

Bed was hard and the toilet was finnicky. The 10:00 checkout was the real bummer at this place though
