Carolinian Beach Resort 1633

The office on-site did not manage the room we were in. Different companies seem to own different rooms. On the day we left, the toilet stopped flushing. On our way out I went to the office on-site to inform them, they said that was not their unit, they don't manage it. Not sure how you'd get an issue fixed, thankfully for us the issue happened as we were preparing to leave. The suites are nice. The kitchen is well equipped with cookware and dishware. Having a washer and dryer in the suite is hugely convenient, you can pack less clothes and won't have a lot of dirty clothes to wash when you get home. The mattresses on the beds were very comfortable, I slept very well, as did my wife and kids. The property was mostly quiet during sleeping hours too. The multiple pools and hot tub on site were nice, our kids enjoyed them a lot. It is mildly inconvenient for the parking garage to be separated from the lodging building by a block, but it wasn't a huge deal and finding available parking in the parking garage was always easy. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at the Carolinian and would not hesitate to return!

Look for something else. It was not very clean and not up to date and I had pest control come in when I was a business call. The pictures are very deceiving.

We enjoyed our stay. The room was comfortable but needs updating.

Was centrally located to the board walk. Everything was within walking distance. It was right on the beach. The condo was as advertised.

Our room was clean, we had a beautiful view from the balcony, the pools could have been more clean, it was noisy at night, lots of children in the pools and hallways, we got a really good deal so we got what we paid for.

It was a good place overall

The tv did not work properly and I contacted the realtor several times and it was never fixed. No hot water one morning. They did not furnish hand towels or dish cloths. There was a nasty smell out on the front balcony. The shower/tub is a very high step to get in. They need grab bars in the shower area. There was also only one hook to hang a towel on in the bathroom. The view was nice, kitchen was ok and the beds were comfortable.

The area was nice snd quiet. The beach was not crowded. The staff was nice and friendly. The restaurant and shopping were in walking distance.
