Alice Hotel

The overall stay was positive, the location is good, in a quiet neighborhood, a bit far from the city center (30min by foot) but very close to the metro station. The hotel is quite clean and well equipped. The terrace was perfect for breakfast.

The shower water was cold on the first day, but then it improved. The daily cleaning service could be better. The breaktast was good, but could have been better. There was no complementary drinking water, which was confusing, especially as there was a good coffee machine.

The hotel is located at a prime location in Budapest. The metro station is just 2-3 minutes which you can use to go to the center. If you walk straight for around 30-40 minutes you can reach the river. On the opposite direction, in just 15 minutes you can find the Szechenyi Thermal Bath House. The rooms are super comfy and cute, very colorful and clean. At night, it's very peaceful and quiet. The breakfast is really nice, you don't have a lot of variety but because of this, the food is much better quality and really tasty. The staff of the hotel is also really nice and welcoming.

Fantastisk morgenmad

Das Frühstück wird im Keller serviert. Bei schönem Wetter kann man auch auf der Terrasse frühstücken, was sehr angenehm ist. Das Essen war ausreichend, etwas Obst wäre noch gut. Ansonsten aber alles ok. Die Metro M1 ist nicht weit entfernt, somit ist man auch schnell im Zentrum. Das Gebäude wirkt sehr edel.

Bei unserem Aufenthalt sprach an der Rezeption allerdings niemand deutsch.

Locarion is great. Food was also amazing (not if you are looking for traditional hungarian food).

The transfer to airport was more expensive, than the one we paid getting there . I wouldn't recomend to use the hotel's. Also was booked at half past not the 20 mins past 3 am as we asked for and what was confirmed. However the driver was 5 mins early. There was a bit of sewer smell in bathroom, but the room and bathroom were very clean.

A cozy little hotel with an excellent breakfast and outstanding coffee (it's been a long time since I've had such good coffee at a hotel). The room was equipped with tea and coffee-making facilities, the air conditioning kept it pleasantly cool, and our room also had a balcony where we could enjoy the warm summer evening.
