Southside Street Apartments

Shower was good, bed was comfy, but still didn't justify cost.

Awful smell day & night of cooking oil, every item of clothing clean or dirty had to be washed when home. Light outside showed through blinds, so not a good night's sleep. The bin men collected the bottle bins at 6am so was extremely loud and woke us. Company wanted £20 extra to check in at 12noon after quoting us £10 a day earlier. No wine glasses. Outside was very unwelcoming and scruffy. The narrow communal hallway had lots of air freshners so obviously an ongoing issue, we had to hold our breath walking up to 1st flat door. Very hot in apartment, had to use fan. Smell in flat was nauseating. Would not recommend staying here, at all.

There was a strange smell in the hallway and apartment. The Wifi didn’t work. I did let them know but nothing was done about it.

Had everything we needed and was really nice

Breakfast around the local area and food in general was very good, the area is full of history and has plenty to do. I would go to the area again.

The was a smell in the corridor when going into the main door, this was a bit off putting but once in the appartment the smell was no longer present.
