It's really good to have a private bathhouse in such a reasonable price.

The room is much more suitable for a family not for couples. It's not fancy and you can still feel the cold outside. However the house keeper is really nice.

I like everything in WEST in , The uncle owner is so kind , good service , we are so happy in here. ^^

Room was very clean and very spacious for the amount paid. Comfy and Homey design. Owner is friendly and helpful and allowed me to deposit my bags and check in earlier by 3h. There are also instructions in English for all devices in the room.

Staircase might be a little steep for elderly to climb.

The location is not far from the main road of Yufuin. You can walk easily from the train station to this building. There are convenient stores nearby (7-11 and Lawson) and also local bakery shop. The room is upstairs, spacious and clean. You got the appliances and everything in your room. Free wifi. Hi-tech bathroom is very functional. There's also the private hot spring bathtub on the first floor so you can enjoy your bath alone. The price is very very good. This place probably offers the best price in Yufuin. The owner is helpful, he was so kind to let us put our luggage there before check in time and also gave us a ride on his Mercedes to the train station after check out. Communication isn't a problem at all because he speaks some English words and has all the signs printed in Japanese/English and we can also use google translate to communicate. I can say that we had the most comfortable night in our Kyushu trip there.

It's not that I don't like it but the room is upstairs with a staircase so just like any place, make sure to always hold the hand rail for your safety.
