Rowena and Brian made us feel very welcome on our journey up and back from Northumbria. The room was lovely, the property and particularly the views superb and the breakfasts - yummy. Diet needed. Definitely a place to return to next time we are up that way. Paul and Fiona.

Picked location based on proximity to Grenoside Crematorium and the car charger but exceeded all expectations. Room very comfortable and my wife said it was cleaner than our own home when our cleaner has just been! Car charger made life so much easier. Lovely breakfast too.

Nice, comfortable, clean room with windows on two sides. A really good pub/restaurant within walking distance. Nice hosts and a nice breakfast.

Needed a B&B for a stopover as we needed to attend a friend’s funeral. This was such a lovely find, fabulous place, exceptionally clean and an excellent breakfast. The location was close to where we needed to be, but would make an ideal place to stay whilst visiting the lovely countryside. Very peaceful and quiet (no TV’s in the rooms if that’s what you want). Would I stay there again……if I was in the area…YES.
