This place is a hidden gem. Mark and David are the perfect hosts. Couldn't fault anything and the breakfast in the morning was one of the best I've had. I highly recommend this hotel and we will definitely stay again.

From the very first steps in through the grand entrance into Hurstwood hall myself and my partner were blown away. David and Mark welcomed us both with open arms and showed us to our beautiful room . From the outstanding quality furnishings and decor to the wonderfully inviting king size bed. We were presented with a room full of thought and passion, fine details that mean so much ...like the cotton ball for the guest who maybe wishes to remove her makeup to the tasteful coffee saches with carefully placed china cups and sugar bowl . There is a real love installed into every part of this guest house and as you enter you can feel it oozes with pleasing comfort. A relaxing atmospheric experience topped off with a delicious breakfast and a heartfelt farewell. All in all a fantastic stay . You enter as strangers and leave as friends for sure .

"Perfect place if you look for authenticity in the middle of nature for walking, hiking, biking,...."

Authentic building with a lot of character. Very kind and helpful hosts who cook your breakfast to order and who give good advice what to do and where to eat. Perfect tip to walk to the nearest town to have a perfect dinner at the Bay Horse which is a lovely brasserie.

My own shower, but at the other side of the corridor.
