This was an exceptional stay. From start to finish, Pilar made us most welcome. She was an extraordinary host, the house was incredible and it’s a perfect base to explore this side of the Algarve. I would highly recommend and for sure I will undoubtedly return. It was just brilliant in every way possible.

"Quiet rustic stay in Altura"

Host Pilar was friendly and helpful. Location was good and quiet on outskirts of Altura. Possible to walk into town but would be hot in middle of the day and easier to drive. Place is a converted farm with lots of outdoor space to relax and views.

Studio 1. Mattress was quite uncomfy and felt like a small double size for 2 persons. Would've been nice to have some more basics in the room, e.g. salt/pepper/cooking oil/spare rubbish bags/ spare toilet rolls. Though I'm sure if we asked we would've got. Considering the above it seemed expensive but perhaps that is just Algarve in high season.

Everything is taking care to the detail, beautiful surroundings and excellent decoration. My apartment had everything I needed for my family.

"Beautiful House in the Countryside just 5 Minute Drive to the Beach"

My friends and I had a lovely stay at Pilar's. The complex is a short 5min drive to the closest beach and there are also plenty of grocery stores and restaurants nearby as well. The house we stayed in had a beautiful patio so we could eat and drink outside and we also took advantage of the grill.

The beds could be a bit more comfortable!
