Location in Corfe Castle village was perfect apart from being on a noisy main road which to be fair, we were aware of.

Very steep stairs to first floor. Downstairs toilet. Poor cleanliness. Ants coming inside. There is a nest by the back door where they were coming in plus they were inside the double glazing to one of the front windows.

Really comfortable sofas and beds. Well equipped kitchen and nice bath/shower. Nice big garden. Great location in the village.

Stairs seemed very steep and narrow. Some obvious dust on furniture in the living room.

Location, parking outside the front door. Great back garden especially with a dog. The cottage was comfortable and adequate for what we wanted. Good WFI, tv reception, nice and warm. Double bed was comfortable and nice linen.

The bathroom needs a deep clean, light cord replacing and a very dirty soiled toilet brush. They was no toilet cleaner. Didn't find a long handle brush or bucket and mop considering we had a dog with us. The kitchen was well stocked with crockery, inside of cupboards needs cleaning. The oven worked OK but probably not in best conditions. Above are my observations which I feel I should point out from a hygiene perspective.

TV not working properly, only 1 parking space

Access to the Common at the rear of the property. Close to shops, pubs and other amenities. Bus stop close by. Great location for the local area.

Stairs were awkward but manageable. Lack of recycling facilities, especially food waste.

Lovely cottage, lovely location but the big negative for us was the stairs? You couldn't fault the house for fixtures and fitting, every thing was provided to make your holiday comfortable. However with bedrooms upstairs and bathroom downstairs you can't ignore the stairs multiple times a day. The stairs are steep, with small treads and unsuitable handrail makes up and down very physically challenging. So if you have any mobility issues or young children then perhaps give this rental a miss? Rear Garden was good with gated access to common land and footpath to centre of Corfe. However the moles have taken over the large rear garden lawn area making it less enjoyable to use.

Liked the location, comfy living room & large back garden leading out onto the common. Only major downside was having the bathroom downstairs and bedrooms upstairs so having to negotiate steep narrow staircase to get to/from bathroom at night.

Great location, easy to walk to the village and opposite a lovely pub. The beds were really comfortable and we all slept really well. The kitchen had everything we needed and the cottage was beautifully clean. The garden was HUGE and had lovely views.

The downstairs toilet was a bit of an inconvenience at night. Some instructions on how to work the oven would have been useful (we got there in the end 😃)
