The stairs where very difficult to manage for seniors with luggage

The room is great. It offers a remarkable experience for anyone wanting to explore Assisi. The view of the belfry, the Basilica of Saint Clare, and the entire surrounding plain is something you can spend hours admiring. The self check-in was easy, and the staff communicated very well with me during my stay. The room is quite austere, but it has a good bed and plenty of space. Definitely a place I would return to.

The location

The washrooms had stain . The host was not quite helpful. Requested for late check out and got a message via bookings the host accepted however was asked to leave as another group was coming. Heater was not working and was informed per law the heater can’t be switched on.

The view from the room was simply awesome - it overlooked the valley with a majestic view of a bell tower. I was woken up to the sounds of hundreds of birds singing - simply amazing! Make sure to go up to the terrace where another jaw-dropping view awaits you and there is a small table with 4 chairs where you can have a coffee or a quick bite whilst enjoying the view. The door to the terrace is unmarked but is at the end of the corridor. I could have stayed all the time up there - but Assisi is a gem waiting to be explored. A highly recommendable place at a very good night rate!

A personal preference, but I would have preferred a firmer bed as it was too soft. Otherwise, considering that most of the time will be spent roaming around Assisi, there isn't much to dislike. It has all the basic needs in place.
