Lovely garden, great having the pub next door

Bed was very uncomfortable, bathroom sink too small and bathroom door didn’t shut properly.

The location was perfect. Just down the road from my son’s family. Garden was beautiful. It was cosy and compact.

Under equipped. Listing states washing machine - no washing machine. BBQ equipment - no BBQ equipment. I had to strip the beds, separate the bedding and towels - I’ve never had to do that in other rental property. TV was basic. Bathroom sink was ridiculously small.

Lovely garden nice place to sit with a drink and relax after a day's walking.

Single bed incredibly hard. Had to pack extra bedding under the mattress protector to make it sleep-able for our child. It's worth taking into consideration that it is quite dark inside.. it's a very old cottage with small windows and the front faces trees, so if you're here during bad weather it can feel a little restrictive.

- Die Lage der Wohnung im Ort ist nicht gut, da direkt an der unerwartet stark befahrenen Hauptstraße gelegen. (Stark befahren wegen ständiger Besucherströme zur Lulworth Cove und Durdle Door) - Das Wohnzimmer ist ebenerdig und Fußgänger schauen häufig in die Fenster hinein. Lässt man daher die Vorhänge straßenseitig zu, ist es zu dunkel in der Wohnung und man muss auch tagsüber das Licht einschalten. - Badezimmer: das Waschbecken ist absurd klein und bis auf Händewaschen nicht zu gebrauchen! Zähneputzen, Gesicht waschen etc. geht nur über der Badewanne. Sehr ärgerlich!! - Zu wenige Haken für Handtücher! - Der Luftentfeuchter unten am Treppenaufgang war bei unserer Ankunft in Störung! Grund: Wasserbehälter komplett voll, außerdem war der Luftfilter stark verschmutzt. Behälter entleert und Filter gereinigt: Gerät funktionierte wieder. - Wohnzimmer: Sofa und Sessel schrottreif, da vollkommen durchgesessen. Sessel nur mit zwei Auflagen für Gartenstühle zu benutzen. - Der Deckenfluter neben dem Sofa war defekt, nur die Leseleuchte funktionierte. - Kein Radio! - Der Heizlüfter stank erbärmlich beim ersten Einschalten. Grund: das Ansauggitter auf der Unterseite war vollkommen zugesetzt mit Staub. Nach Reinigung per Staubsauger wieder benutzbar. - Wohnzimmer und Essbereich mit hochflorigem Teppich ausgestattet. Nicht unbedingt hygienisch. Teppich in Ecken und unter den Polstermöbeln stark verschmutzt. - Die Gäste-Informationen sind teilweise veraltet, z.B. Angaben über TV bzw. DVD sowie WLAN-Zugang. - Küche: die Benutzung des Toasters führte mehrfach zum Auslösen des Brandmelders über dem Esstisch! Wir hatten fortan den Toaster bei Benutzung ins offene Küchenfenster gestellt und die Haustür geöffnet, dann ging es.

location was perfect beds and pillows were comfortable - slept well garden was perfect amenities were good (coffee, tea, milk, dog biscuits, bottle of wine, iron, TV) very nice shower a very cosy place to stay, would recommend and would happily stay again overall good value for money easy to find and good instructions to enter

the size of the sink in the main bathroom is tiny - very tiny. makes using it difficult. the rugs were very annoying. you'd only have to look at them and they'd be all bunched up trying to trip you up! some dust/cobwebs around but overall wasn't much of a problem. upstairs was cold but blankets were provided (not sure what heating there was available). downstairs had a heater which worked nicely. very late check in time at 5pm (but still a normal check out time 10am. perhaps if you have a late check in time it could be compensated with a late check out time?) no washing machine - this may well be in the description but was a bit inconvenient to not have one. couldn't find a baking tray either. the main light in the bedroom wasn't overly bright, but the lamps were incredibly bright (other way round would make more sense). the lights in the lounge were also not very bright. it's nice to have a softer light with a lamp, and a brighter main bulb.

Warm cozy cottage a walkable distance to the actual bay and very convenient for visiting family. Small but contemporary well equipped kitchen and bathroom in a a traditional cottage. Lovely welcoming gifts of Prosecco, biscuits, milk and a decorated Christmas tree with lights made it particularly special.

We had a dehumidifier (which we emptied twice) in the entrance space. Didn't notice condensation except on upstairs windows in a morning - maybe it was the season.
