No room service after breakfast. Some basic deficiencies in room e.g. no sitting area, no shower curtain, fused led panels not changed

Location of the hotel to the main Mapusa market was good (10min walk from the hotel downhill). This hotel would be recommended for those doing short trips and who have work in Mapusa and don't require the frills of a hotel including having meals outside. It provides the basic of a simple breakfast, hot water in the shower (24x7), AC room and somewhat clean sheets on the bed.

Breakfast was understaffed and the food got over way before the breakfast timeline, also, the food wasn't being refilled. In the room, water should have been atleast 1 litre per person per day, instead only 500ml was given - you had the option to purchase water. In the room, there was a smell (sewage) in the bathroom at times. We also found a cockroach on the walls which we brought to the attention of the staff. A full length mirror was provided at a location in the room where you could not see yourself at ease. The bath towels were stained though smelled fresh - hand towels were not provided and needed to be requested. Toiletries (soap, shampoo, toothbrush and toothpaste) are something you should consider carrying. The bedsheets were clean but worn out ie my bedsheet had a hole in it. The hotel kitchen does not function and hence no room service within the hotel, hence you need to have your meals outside. The reception was like a building entrance - this could have been done up better to provide a welcome to travel weary passengers. Parking for vehicles can be a problem since it is on a mud slope and there could be a shortage of space. We were a couple checking in to attend a wedding reception close by and the receptionist gave us a room with 2 single beds with no option to switch to a single bed - guest couples who checked in later were given a single bed.
