The hotel was closed up when we arrived just before 9pm, we had to wait outside until a security guard arrived 5 minutes later. He checked me in, but had no knowledge of my colleague's room, and had to make several painfully confused phone-calls to find out what to do. He then led us to our rooms, but it was clear that he did not know the layout of the hotel. Wifi did not work, after multiple attempts to connect. The facilities are fine, but the stress of standing outside wondering whether we'd need to find alternate accommodation undermined the remainder of the experience. Relying on an untrained security guard to facilitate check-in is also not good practice in the hospitality sector.

The staff were amazing, and the breakfast was great as well. I really enjoyed our stay.
