Tisha Langkawi Wellness Resort

Staff was very friendly, cheap and fast to get to main part of Chenang by Grab (4-6RM), supermarket in walking distance, efficient check out process

We booked the Cabana, which was super small and could have been cleaner (towels and sheets had stains on it), internet was sometimes working - sometimes not, due to location outside the main part of Cenang there were a lot of insects and mosquitos (make sure to bring repellent), breakfast was white toast, cold scrambled egg and cold beans, coffee was ok though.

adjust your expectations - the reviews are rather inflated on this site and like many hotels, the photos are a little deceiving. also make sure you are fully aware of the room you’re booking as there are no photos of the rooms when selecting them. the wifi was very unreliable. the standard studio is tiny - I would say it’s just for one person or a couple that is prepared to be in a tight space. i went with a friend so it was uncomfortable. we booked for three nights but only stayed for one (had we arrived earlier in the day I doubt we would have stayed the first night). the hotel is quite out of the way and Grab (like Uber) doesn’t recognise the hotel so you have to tell the driver to come to the place next door. i personally don’t think it should be ranked as a 4 star hotel - maximum 3 stars. as aforementioned the staff are absolutely lovely and I don’t want to bash the hotel but I thought it was worth providing a more realistic review than the ones I had relied on.

We stayed in a triple room, and the deco was excellent. It's basically like a mini home, your own stair case, toilet (inside and outside). And it was quiet and cozy. What I like the most is the friendliness and helpful of the staff, especially to Ms. Arum. She made us feel so welcome and fulfilled all our requests. Big thumb up to her. Also, applause to all other staff i.e. the chef that cooked us yummy breakfast. The Manager, that cleaned the swimming pool for us to make sure we swim in a clean pool. We appreciate your service and hospitality. Good Job!

Location. Walking to Cenang beach is about 15minutes under the hot sun/rain. If heavy rain, the short cut road will be flooded and you will have to take a big round to Cenang Beach, which took us 30mins. Besides, walking back to the resort at night is definitely a big NO NO. It's dark, quiet and many stray dogs around too. Grab/Taxi back to the resort is strongly advice, which cost around RM7-10. If you are using Grab, you can't find Tisha Resort. You can put Halia Village instead. Another concern, our shower room which is at 1st floor seems unsafe. Because we felt that outside people can easily see through us at night. Just take note tho.

gorgeous bedrooms - maybe the best we’ve ever stayed in, very friendly staff they went the extra mile to make sure everything was ok for us. beautiful pool area for chilling. tucked away from the busy beach front which we really liked. around 10-15 min walk to the beach front

Amazingly kind staff

The staff were great at the property and cooked up a scrumptious breakfast.

I feel the price paid is not worth the value of the property. The superior room is really nice and spacious but we also booked a standard room which is really not nice. It is cramped, small and when we arrived was not very clean. I moved my teens into the superior room because they didn’t not like the standard room. Cleanliness as a whole in Malaysia seems to be a problem and there were many ants in the bathroom. Location was challenging for the taxi to find.
