"A REAL GEM !!"

10.0

Just returned from a weekend at this fab little cottage, in the wonderful Finchingfield. Access is straight forward, using the key safe, and as you enter you are welcomed by a clean, warm ,well designed home.Parking out front was no problem too find either.Shaun, the owner, had messaged me prior to our day of arrival, with some additional information and to make sure I was happy about the check in, which was considerate. Basics were all there, from towels to tea and coffee, and as I was the first to arrive, I sat with a hot drink and watched the world go by in the village. The Lion pub is a friendly place, with a great log burner, very tasty Pizzas, and we found the locals chatty. There were dogs too, who wanted to say hello - happy days. It was nice coming back to a warm cottage ( the thermostat was very easy to adjust ) and a little bit of tele before bed.On that matter, the beds were very comfy, and we slept soundly. Winners tearooms , just across the bridge, do a very tasty breakfast, and the home made cakes looked really good too. So, if you fancy a a little piece of old world charm, with all the mod cons, give this place a try, you won't regret it.In fact , 2 of our party have just booked to return in August.

Can't think of anything.

"Beautiful Cottage in a beautiful Villages 10/10"

The property was beautiful in an equally beautiful village. Everywhere was spotlessly clean. The beds were all super comfortable and we thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The owners were extremely helpful. Would definitely book again.
