El Picnic Atitlan

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at El Picnic! The views were amazing, extremely good food for both breakfast and dinner, and the property was gorgeously built in the hills. We loved the tree house, everyone was extremely friendly. There are only four cabins in total which makes it intimate and peaceful. Highly recommend to stay here for visiting Lake Atitlan!

N/A for us. Just be aware that Tzunana is a quiet town. You can easily take the boat to explore the other towns. Also, best views in nature don’t come for free- you will need to walk a decent amount of stairs to enjoy your peaceful view. If you mind the sound of nature and village (e.g. a rooster in the morning), bring earplugs.

Perfect quiet location, away from hustle and bustle. The cabins have beautiful views. It’s easy to relax up there. The food is amazing. Dinners and breakfast are gourmet style. Great drinks and good wine available. You can even play chess and golf if you desire. The couple who owns the property is truly fantastic. By the end of the trip you feel like friends. Gaby arranged all the complicated transportation and was available asap. You need to be semi fit to stay there. You are going to go up to your beautiful lodging.

Beautiful location, wonderful hosts, great gourmet food, delicious breakfast and dinner, menu changed every day. Free water, that was very convenient to us. The hosts were very attentive via email or WhatsApp. All our transfer issues were arranged smoothy by Gaby. We stayed in highest accommodation, that was so lovely and the view was outstanding. We love our stay there!!!!!!

Dit is echt een prachtige locatie met geweldig uitzicht vanuit je huisje! Personeel is erg vriendelijk en de eigenaren zijn dat ook. Gezellig om mee te praten. Er lopen ook 3 honden los van de eigenaren die erg lief waren. Eten was super!

The owners are wonderful and very helpful in finding transportation and things to do. The breakfast was excellent. The bed was comfortable and I liked the feeling of sleeping outside. Beautiful views of the lake and volcanoes.

For the things we wanted to do, the location may not have been the best choice for us but the owners made it easy to get everywhere. Nearby dogs barked a few times in the middle of the night.
