Outpost Hostel - Coron

Clean and comfy, great location and great pancakes.

1. A bit pricey 2. Lots of parties/activities at night, I could not even find an empty table to order dinner 3. A drunk couple was having loud sex in my room and I called reception, they promptly acted on it, well done!

The pool and the view from the rooftop is stunning. Staff is also very nice

The facilities are old and need urgent maintenance - the showers are all mouldy, the dorms have a certain stinky smell to them, the bunk beds are really difficult to get up to and theres one little window (natural light) in dorms of 12. Also it’s very much for people in their early 20s and, ultimately, way too overpriced for what it is!

Friendly hostel with nice bar and pool area but hostel is for young people. Despite me being older there were events like the quiz that I joined so an opportunity to meet people and also on the boat trips/tours.

The hostel was great and clean. Even though it was a mixed room, I like how they organized the guests trying to separate the rooms by male and female. The 12 people room is actually pretty big, no space issues. The pool upstairs is really nice and they always have some events. It's not like a party hostel, but it's a social hostel with games and activities every night until 11pm. Their daily tours are also great, good chance to meet people. The restaurant-bar upstairs makes it convenient.

Bathrooms are shared between everyone. Toilets could have more space to leave our toiletry bags. It's quite far from the port and city center - it can easily take 15-25 minutes walking to reach these spots.
