Good location, well equipped and very nice host

The apartment was decent, close to the produce shops and walking distance to the beach. It also was quite enough thanks to the location in the side street. The owner was friendly and helpful, we were able to communicate through Google translate well enough.

At the first sight, the property has all the facilities you may need for comfortable living. But after closer examination you notice that there are no such simple things like tea cups or spoons. The pan is not suitable for cooking as well as it is producing a lot of smoke. I think a small investment in such basic things could have made guests’ experience a lot better.

The room is damp but not significant. In humid weather, I think humidity is inevitable. The room is fully equipped. When I was here, the staff here helped me enthusiastically, which I really appreciated. I will return here when I have a chance

The location of Gia Han building was decent. Within walking distance to convenience stores, grocery stores, the beach, atm's super close, etc.

Unfortunately, I do not think the photos/pictures accurately represented the actual state of the unit/room. It was a very damp place, there was definitely a water damage issue/leak problem from different areas of the ceiling/roof and very apparently ran down the walls causing a lot of water damage. It is very noticeable. Also, unfortunately, I noticed a major mold problem. It was obvious someone kept trying to paint over a very large section of the wall that kept getting leaks/water damage. But the continuous painting over such large section didn't really help the problem at all. You need to stop the water leaks from up above, from the roof, from the source. Anyways, there was mold all over a large section of the wall in the unit, and also the air conditioner looked super dirty, moldy, and discolored. I turned on the a/c unit only one time, later in the afternoon after I arrived, and once it opened and started running/blowing air, I immediately turned it off. I saw the condition and state it was in, the dirtiness of the filter inside, and the mold in the a/c, it was really gross. It only ran for like one minute, then I turned it off, and never used it during my week stay there. If I could have cleaned it myself, I probably would have, but for some reason the a/c unit was located very high up on the wall close to the ceiling. I hate to leave a negative review for a place. The staff/employees/family who work there seem to be nice. But I think it's important to be transparent and honest. There needs to be more upkeep and maintenance of the building and units. And mold exposure is not healthy. It can be very dangerous. So, I was happy to leave after my stay there and found a much cleaner, more well-maintained place for around the same price.
