Hotel Zamorc

Beautiful facility and location

We really enjoyed our brief, but comfortable and easy stay at Hotel Zamorc. We added on an extra night in Slovenia and wanted to stay somewhat near the airport without going back into Ljubljana and I'd hoped we could stay in Skofja Loka. When I saw a night available at Hotel Zamorc I was drawn to the location, the parking, the yard & garden area on the river, and the fact that our family of 3 could stay in one room comfortably. When we arrived we were greeted by the hotel staff who were lovely, allowed to park early so we could wander the town before check-in, and our room was actually slightly larger than expected, a nice small bed for our young son, and a small mini-fridge we weren't expecting so we could keep a few things cold. I will also add that the updates made to the property were clearly very well done, it felt high-end. We were sad to miss breakfast the following morning, I'm sure it would have been delicious, and the kitchen area was very charming. The highlight of the stay was that our son loved the grassy area to play, and it was even closer walking distance than I realized to the old part of town. And a simple drive to the airport the next morning, very scenic! I only wish we could have stayed more than 1 night!

The room got pretty warm during the afternoon so we had the windows open, but with traffic and the sidewalk so close it was a bit noisy so we wanted to have the air-conditioning on, but couldn't figure out how to get it on. This wasn't something we were going to contact anyone about, we just kept the windows open and we were fine when things got quieter. If it had been hotter, or we'd been staying longer, I would have asked for assistance, or to see if it was not working.

The location, the cleanliness, the attitude of the owners

Lite hotel, bare 9 rom. Tatt i mot på utsiden av hotellet, i hagen, av driverne av hotellet. Utrolig hyggelige og hjelpsomme. Flotte omgivelser, fantastisk service, god stemning og flotte rom.

Du får ikke servert middag, så dette må du ordne selv, men det er helt ok. Flere fine plasser å spise i nærheten.

Breakfast was absolutely delicious, and in many ways the highlight of our stay. Eggs every morning, with toast, lattes, prosciutto, and more. The location was great as well, right on the river running through a charming preserved medieval town. Ample parking available, but you also don't need a car as there's lots of restaurants, hiking, and even a castle museum right in town.

Todo fue fabuloso. Destacar las excelentes instalaciones, el precioso jardín con vistas al río, la limpieza y la amabilidad de sus propietarios. Me volvería a alojar en él sin ningún tipo de duda.

We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel. The property is incredibly well-maintained and clean. The rooms are beautiful and super comfortable. Breakfast was delicious with great options. The hosts are extremely attentive and friendly—they gave us amazing tips for exploring the region. We couldn't have asked for a better experience! Highly recommended.
