Oak Ridge Motel

Really happy with the cleanliness of the rooms, comfortable beds. Receptacles for charging boat batteries at each room, inside of rooms were updated recently it appeared. Good a/c and ceiling fan.

Everything was great would recommend it to anyone that ask. My next trip to Lake Fork will stay there again.

I never made this reservation so I have no comment on how the room was. I made a reservation for Oak Ridge Motel in Alliance, Ohio and found when I arrived there was no room reserved. I had not even gone into the hotels.com website so I still can't figure out how I ended up there. I typed in the search box on the web, "find hotels in Alliance, Ohio and the name Oak Ridge Motel came up. When I clicked on it, I now realize I was automatically transferred over to the hotels.com site and my hotel in Alliance, OH turned into an Oak Ridge motel in Quitman, TX. First I tried to call the motel in Texas and they could not cancel my reservation. They said to go to hotels.com. I was on hold on the phone with hotels.com for a long time and they could never figure out how to resolve the problem either. Very stressful, especially while we were attending a family funeral.

There were dirty sheets on one of the beds so it grossed us all out in both rooms. The light on the porch was so bright through the window and there was turning it off. There is no shelf in the shower so we have to leave our toiletries on the floor during shower, that is dirty. The shower leaked all over. The staff was super nice and lake was beautiful, but we got al lil icked out. Layed our clothes to sleep on.
